Cookie Policy
What this website stores in your browser, and what it does not.
Effective 2026-09-08
This policy covers maplechat.app, our public website. The MapleChat application at dashboard.maplechat.app is covered separately, below.
What this website uses today
This site is a set of static pages. It sets no analytics cookies, no advertising cookies and no third-party trackers. It loads no fonts, scripts or images from external services, so no third party observes your visit.
Your browser may store a small amount of data locally to remember preferences such as language. This is functional, stays on your device, and is not used to identify you.
We will update this page and ask for consent where required before introducing analytics. Until then there is nothing to consent to, which is why you are not seeing a cookie banner.
What the application uses
Once you sign in at dashboard.maplechat.app, MapleChat stores what it needs to keep you signed in and to remember your interface preferences:
| Purpose | What is stored | Why it is necessary |
|---|---|---|
| Authentication | Session and refresh tokens issued by Firebase Authentication | Without these you would have to sign in on every page |
| Preferences | Language, theme and layout choices | Keeps the interface as you left it |
These are strictly necessary to provide a service you have asked for, so they do not require consent. Clearing them signs you out.
Connecting WhatsApp or a catalog
The screens where you connect a WhatsApp Business Account or a product catalog load Meta's JavaScript SDK from connect.facebook.net. Meta may set its own cookies in your browser and receives usage signals from those screens; that processing is Meta's own, under Meta's terms. The SDK loads only on those screens, and never on this website.
Managing cookies
You can clear or block cookies and local storage in your browser settings. Blocking them for dashboard.maplechat.app will prevent you from signing in.
